Office of Council Services
Company Overview
The Office of Council Services provides legal and policy advice and legislative drafting services for the Honolulu City Council. The Office also serves as the Revisor of Ordinances for the City & County of Honolulu, and may serve as "special counsel" to the Council in the event of litigation between the legislative and executive branches of the City.
Company History
The Office was established in 1973 by the Honolulu City Council pursuant to a City Charter Amendment approved by the voters in 1972.
